Freelance Java Developer - Spring Boot Microservices

About the Project:

We are seeking a skilled Java developer proficient in Spring Boot and microservices architecture to join our project team on a freelance basis. The project involves developing a scalable microservices-based application for [industry/domain].

Responsibilities:

Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance.
Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle.
Writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
Ensuring designs are in compliance with specifications.
Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
Troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and providing effective solutions.

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in Java development.
Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data).
Experience designing and developing microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
Understanding of agile methodologies.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.

Nice to Have:

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
